Language Arts
The Fourth Grade Language Arts curriculum allows for fourth grade students to expand their literary knowledge to apply personal experience and knowledge of concepts independently to interpret printed material in fiction/nonfiction across all content areas.
Students write in narrative, expository, and persuasive styles to convey main idea or concepts to fully communicate their complex ideas. Research skills of gathering, sorting, interpreting, and evaluating information from multiple sources, including technology, allow students to communicate for a variety of purposes and audience.
