The Process

Follow these 3 steps to create your game.

Step 1

Do the activities on these websites:

1. http://www3.funbrain.com/cgi-bin/mb.cgi?A1=start3&A2=1&ALG=No&Submit=Play+Ball

2.http://www.aplusmath.com/games/matho/MultMatho.html

3. http://www.aaamath.com/mul39e-multall.html#section2

4. http://www2.funbrain.com/cgi-bin/fract.cgi?A1=s&A2=2&A15=0

5. http://www6.funbrain.com/cgi-bin/ttt.cgi?A1=s&A2=7&A3=0

If you have reviewed the multiplication facts and feel confident that you know them, go on to step 2. If don't feel as confident with multiplication as you think you should, go back and practice the activities at the above sites some more.

Step 2

Look at a sample multiplication board game on these sites:

"Multiplication is Out of This World" game directions page

Step 3

It is time to be creative and make your game in Inspiration. Be sure you make your game on two pages which include the following things:

Page 1
* a title
* the game's creator(s)
* detailed directions
*game that directly involves children in practicing multiplication facts

Page 2
*the game board

Page 1 and 2
*neat appearance

After you have got your game on Inspiration looking just the way you want it, get your teacher's permission to print it. Then, glue the two pages inside a file folder and turn it in.
