1. Go to On-Line Karyotyping Lab
2. Answer the following questions based on the lab:
a. Why are there several viable mutations in sex chromosomes and very few viable mutations in somatic chromosomes?
b.Explain how each person coul dhave inherited the wrong number of chromosomes. Consider each case separately and explain where the error may have occurred (i.e. mitosis or meiosis, through the male or female parent).
c.What types of aneuploidy are represented in these cases?
d. Are there ever cases of monoploidy in which the human baby can survive?
