I, _____________________________, agree to follow the Computer Use Policy (CUP) in all of my work with computers while in Mrs. Roberts’s eMINTS classroom.

I will:

• Respect school property.
• Use the computer only when instructed by my teacher and I will not use the computer during teacher instruction.
• Use the computer for academically appropriate uses only.
• Use the appropriate sources for my research.  I will not plagiarize the work of others. 
• Use the software approved by the teacher.
• Ask permission before printing documents.
• Cooperate with other students when completing a project or an assignment.
• Use my first name only in any messages or materials that may be sent to the Internet.
• Not give out personal information.
• Not use CD’s or disks from outside the classroom.
• Not copy or modify files and/or data belonging to other users without their prior consent.

Misuse of the computer or network may result in one or more of the following consequences:

• Limit or loss of use of the computer for 1 day, 3 days, or 1 week.
• Additional disciplinary action by the teacher or the principal.
