1) With your friend research the states that border Missouri.

2) You will look at each state to see if it has the things that each member wanted in a new home. You may use States Check Sheet to help you make sure you'll meet the needs of the family.

3) Using the information that you found for each state, pick the state that you want to move to.

4) Conduct a thorough research on that state, filling out the graphic organizer to help you be able to persuade your parents that the state that you have chosen is the best for the family. See what else your state has to offer for your family. Fill out the State Facts Guide to help you organize your research.

5) On a map of your state pick the community that you would live in. Will you live in a small town, a suburb, or a big city?

6) Once you have decided where you want to move to, you must create a PowerPoint to persuade your parents and sister that this is the best state for your family to relocate to. Make sure that you use information from your research to support your decision.
