Credits: I want to take this opportunity to thank my son and nephew for posing for the shadow pictures. They were so willing to help and their participation has enhanced this webquest. It means a lot to me to see them on here. I also want to thank Doug Caldwell, my CIS, for helping when problems surfaced. I also would like to thank my school district, The Rolla Public Schools, for letting me continue my training and furnishing me with the resources needed to complete this task. The websites I found to use for this webquest were found through a Google search. I hope they are helpful to you in your lesson concerning shadows. The webquest format was used from The Webquest Page. The titles for each page of my webquest came from www.flamingtext.com and my scoring guides were formed at Rubistar. References: There are some offline reference materials/books that could be useful in teaching the concept of shadows and what happens to them. Here are a few children's books that could be used with this webquest: My Shadow, by Robert Louis Stevenson ( ISBN #: 0-698-11365-9) Shadows and Reflections, by Tana Hoban ( ISBN #: 0-688-07089-2) I Have a Friend, by Keiko Narahashi ( ISBN #: 0-689-50432-2) Shadowgraphs Anyone Can Make, by Phila H.
