To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Corps of Discovery, Milton Bradley has hired you and your team to construct a board game of Lewis & Clark's historical trek to explore the Lousiana Purchase.  Begin by thinking about various board games that might be suited for this task such as Sorry, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Jeopardy, Guess Who/What?, etc.  Then gather information on how Lewis and Clark  prepared for this trip.  What kinds of problems did they encounter with the Native Americans and how did they trade with them considering the language barriers they met? What kinds of maps did they use and create?  What unusual plants and animals did they discover?   So "Go directly to Task, do not pass Go, do not collect $200!"
